Barcelona Pavilion

What do two photo geeks do on their honeymoon in Spain? A lot of shooting, of course! We’re sad to report that we have nary a photo from the trip of us together (how terrible is that?) but happy to have a bevy of images of beautiful places to share 🙂

On our first day in Barça, we went for a glorious, agenda-less wander with our cameras and a couple of lenses. Our Dérive took us near Mont Juïc and Amanda wanted to visit the Barcelona Pavilion, a modernist masterpiece by  Mies van der Rohe.

Our intention was not to thoroughly document the building – we had neither the equipment nor the inclination – but simply to shoot what interested us. Mission accomplished!
